The max operating load is from 1.1kW to 1.3kW when starting. As the refrigerated compartment cools the unit will begin to work less and turn on/off. The average working load is 650W (13V @ 50A), this of course depends on the ambient temperature and insulation properties of the cooling compartment. The Titan has double the capacity and operating load.

We have installers across North America and help customer’s facilitate their own install process. Depending on fleet size we can also have a Volta Air representative come to train yourself or technicians.

The Pluto unit take approximately 1 day to install, with the EuroLiner product line, depending on van the whole retrofit can be done in 2-4 days.

At Volta Air, we understand that customers have varying budgets and applications. We typically recommend our EuroLiner kits since we have tested and can guarantee performance with the known insulation properties. However if the job is being done internally we would recommend using; polyurethane or polyisocyanurate. EPS and XPS can do the job as well depending on thickness, it is important to try to achieve a R-value of approximately 10 for fridge applications.

The unit will work with any vehicle the following can be done; alternator upgraded, battery bank added with plug-in, solar power integration.

If your product requires troubleshooting or warranty service, contact your merchant. If you are unable to contact your merchant or the merchant is unable to provide service, contact Volta Air directly at the number listed on the website in the support section for your product. In any warranty claim, dated proof of purchase must accompany the product and the product must not have been disassembled or modified without prior written authorization by Volta Air. Proof of purchase may be in any one of the following forms: The dated purchase receipt from the original purchase of the product at point of sale to the end user, or The dated dealer invoice or purchase receipt showing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) status, or The dated invoice or purchase receipt showing the product exchanged under warranty.

Volta Air Limited Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear of the product or costs related to the removal, installation, or troubleshooting of the customer’s electrical systems. These warranties do not apply to and Volta Air will not be responsible for any defect in or damage to: • the product if it has been misused, neglected, improperly installed, physically damaged or altered, either internally or externally, or damaged from improper use or use in an unsuitable environment
• the product if it has been subjected to fire, water, generalized corrosion, biological infestations, or input voltage that creates operating conditions beyond the maximum or minimum limits listed in the Volta Air product specifications including high input voltage from generators and lightning strikes • the product if repairs have been done to it other than by Volta Air or its authorized service centers (hereafter “ASCs”) or without consulting Volta Air • the product if it is used as a component part of a product expressly warranted by another manufacturer; the product if its original identification (trade-mark, serial number) markings have been defaced, altered, or removed.

original Warranty Period or 90 days from the date of the return shipment to the customer, whichever is greater. All replaced products and all parts removed from repaired products become the property of Volta Air. Volta Air covers both parts and labor necessary to repair the product, and return shipment to the customer via a Volta Air -selected non-expedited surface freight within the contiguous United States and Canada. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded. Contact Volta Air customer service for details on freight policy for return shipments outside of the contiguous United States and Canada. International customers are responsible for paying freight charges (both inbound & return) for inwarranty replacement or repair.

This is CARB’s way of increasing incentive levels for drivers and their companies to switch to eco-friendly equipment. Rebates cover a range of battery electric, plug-in hybrid electric, and fuel cell vehicles.
For low & moderate-income consumers, the California rebates provide savings of up to $11,500.

Plug-in/shore power comes as an option in the units. We can suggest an inverter/converter or you may purchase one from us with VAT’s warranty and customer support.
